Amol Durge has been integral to Daimler since 2010, joining Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India in Bangalore for the Fuso Heavy-Duty Truck hybrid control function development project, including a stint as resident lead at Mitsubishi Fuso, Japan. He has also established several teams in Truck Powertrain Control, Thermodynamics, OBD data analysis, and fuel economy simulation for Global Powertrain Trucks.
In 2016, he took on an assignment in Stuttgart as Executive Assistant to the Head of Powertrain. Returning to Bangalore in 2018, Amol was instrumental in establishing the System Integration Lab for EvoBus, Fuso, Mercedes-Benz Truck, Daimler Truck North America, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, and Autonomous Trucks at DTICI.
